We'll start with the random pics.
Spencer has been helping me cook dinner on occasion. His favorite to help and eat is meat loaf. That's not what we were cooking here. But he's old enough now that it actually helps me.
Over Spring Break, to celebrate the kids' hard work at school, we took them to Sweet Tomatoes--it's an all-you-can-eat salad bar that also has pizza, pasta, soups, and a few other random things. Spencer out-ate us all. And then both kids topped it off with a huge serving of ice cream:
For April Fool's Day, I decided I had to do something to trick the kids. After searching online while they were at school, I came across this idea:
Looks like cupcakes, right? Nope--it's mashed potatoes on top of meatloaf. The kids thought it was funny, but not as much as I was hoping. April Fools fail.
I added some boys ties to my etsy shop and finally was able to have Davin model something. Here's some of my favorite of him from the photo shoot:
